Overview

6.1010 is different from anything so far. The first lab involves image processing. Manipulating pixels, applying filters, understanding how images are represented as grids of numbers.

I spent more time than I expected on the lab setup alone.

What I did today?

6.1010 Fundamentals of Programming:

• Lecture 1: Functions as first-class objects
• Lecture 2: Higher-order functions, lambdas, map/filter
• Lab 0: Image processing setup
• Started implementing greyscale and blur filters
